Many of them (tourist) travel around the world were looking for a new adventure, new experience, and also new things.

Tourism in Indonesia is an important component of the Indonesian economy as well as a significant source of foreign exchange. In 2013 the tourism sector contributes around US $10 billion of foreign exchange, and is estimated will surpassed US $11 billion in 2014. The Indonesian tourism sector ranked as the 4th largest among goods and service export sectors.

The Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Indonesia has been launched several campaign to promote Indonesian tourism sectors. The first campaign called “Visit Indonesia” launched on 1991, until 2012 this campaign were success to make a significant income to our country.

After “Visit Indonesia” launched, on 2013 the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Indonesia launched the next campaign to replace the old one. The next campaign was “Wonderful Indonesia”. The difference between “Wonderful Indonesia” and “Visit Indonesia” was on the cultural sectors, they want to introduce Indonesian culture to the world. The government hopes that this campaign will bring Indonesian culture abroad, and also can giving more contribution for the economic sector.
